'365'

Fundraiser for The Cancer Research Charity AND CHAS. CHILDREN'S HOSPICE ACROSS SCOTLAND

7TH TO THE 24TH OF SEPTEMBER 2017. OPENING NIGHT THURSDAY THE 7TH OF SEPTEMBER 6-8:30PM.

This will be an exhibition of my wee paintings, my studies of my travels of these beautiful landscapes and seascapes of Scotland. The wonderful and kind response I had with the '100/100' exhibition to raise funds for the charity was overwhelming and the stories that most people shared with me about their own experiences, struggles, success stories and some not so lucky stories were touching and moved me. I am very fortunate enough to have my good health and do something I absolutely love for a living and if I can help in my way, with my art, to help raise funds for the fight towards cancer, then I will do what I can when I can.

I will be donating £25 per painting sold, to each of the charities, so 50% of each painting sold will be towards the charities.

I am very pleased to be able to promote my work for these charities and to announce that CHAS, the Children's Hopsices Across Scotland will be part of this exhibition too.

CHAS is the only charity in Scotland that provides vital hospice services for children and young people with life-shortening conditions. chas.org.uk

I have been so inspired by this fight against cancer, especially after my mother's early diagnosis and successful surgery. When I am painting these wee studies, I get even more enjoyment out of them when I know that I can be playing a small part, with your help, in the fight. I have had this idea for some time now and started in May 2016 and because of the success of the '100/100' exhibition we raised over £5500 for The Cancer Research Charity in September 2016 I gave myself the challenge to paint 365 small landscape / seascape paintings. One for each day of the year. I am currently still working on them and with some luck and perseverance, I will have them all finished by end of June 2017! I will then have them framed, photographed and listed by mid August 2017.

The gallery will exhibit the full 365 small paintings and as before, they will each be priced at £100 each and £25 will go to each of the charities from each sale.

Thanks, Tommy.
