I am a contemporary Scottish landscape artist whose paintings explore the relationship between light, colour, place and memory.

 

Painting from the beaches of Scotland, from my studio and gallery in Edinburgh, I draw much of my inspiration from travelling through Scotland—particularly its islands, coastlines and remote landscapes. These journeys, along with the changing seasons and shifting light of the Scottish landscape, provide an ever-changing source of ideas for my work.
